This notice explains what information the Nakori beta waitlist collects and how it is used.
What is collected
The beta waitlist may collect:
- your email address;
- your Korean level, if you choose to provide it;
- the study sources you select, if any;
- text you enter when you select “Other”, if any; and
- the date and time you joined the waitlist.
Why it is collected
This information is used to manage the Nakori beta waitlist, contact you when beta testing opens and understand in aggregate what kinds of Korean learners are interested in the beta. It is not used for advertising.
Why Nakori may contact you
By joining the waitlist, you agree to receive emails about Nakori beta testing, including invitations and important beta updates. You can withdraw from the waitlist and stop receiving these emails at any time.
Where the information is stored
Waitlist information is stored using Supabase.
How long it is kept
Waitlist information will be kept only for as long as it is needed to manage the Nakori beta and related beta invitations, unless a longer period is required for legal reasons.
Sharing
Your information is not sold. Service providers needed to operate the waitlist, currently including Supabase, may process the information on Nakori’s behalf.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information. You may also withdraw from the beta waitlist and stop receiving beta updates. To make any of these requests, email privacy@nakori.co.
